2022 Transactions at Bass Sox Mercer

Bass Sox Mercer closed 63 transactions in 2022. Those transactions took place in 23 different states, covered 38 linemakes, and had an aggregate value of roughly one billion dollars.
The closed transactions involved dealerships located in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
The closings involved the following brands: Acura, BRP, Buick, Bush Hog, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Ducati, Dodge, Ford, GEM, Genesis, GMC, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Honda (powersports), Husqvarna, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, John Deere, Kawasaki, Kia, KMC, Kuhn, KTM, Land Rover, Landoll, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Ram, SSR, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volvo, and Yamaha.
The last several years saw record buy-sell activity. We expect 2023 to follow in that track unless the often-discussed recession materializes. And, even then, we expect a healthy buy-sell market unless the recession is severe.
