Governor DeSantis’ New “Safer At Home” Order Clarified
Florida Dealers, there is some positive news to report during these trying times.
Yesterday, Governor DeSantis amended Executive Order 20-91 to make clear that it supersedes all inconsistent local orders or regulations. Thus, the ability for new motor vehicle dealerships to continue to operate in full, to include both sales as well as service and parts, has been ensured statewide. Any dealers previously subject to local regulations preventing sales operations or limiting them should now be able to be fully open.
We continue to recommend you ensure that all of your employees as well as customers are adhering to the CDC guidelines on social distancing while visiting your dealerships and don’t forget to continue your activities to comply the heightened standards relating to disinfecting and sanitizing the premises. Be well.
