BSM Assists Dealers and Dealer Associations With Challenging Ford EV Program

The Firm has been providing legal counsel to a number of dealers and dealer associations around the United States in response to Ford’s Model e Certified Elite Program. Our work has involved determining which components of the Program violate a particular state’s motor vehicle franchise protections and advising our clients accordingly.

BSM has advised many Ford dealers on their rights under state motor vehicle franchise laws and the need to reserve their rights if they believe they must agree to the terms of the EV Program.

Likewise, the Firm has assisted a number of state and metro dealer associations in writing to Ford Motor Company setting out the various ways the EV Program violates their state franchise laws.
